Job Description:

As an Excavator Operator at HD Bruce Contracting Ltd, you will play a crucial role in our farm maintenance and development projects. Operating a fairly new Sumitomo 13T Excavator, your work will be essential to the success of our operations in the Gisborne/Wairoa Area. This full-time position offers competitive remuneration to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Sumitomo 13T Excavator for farm maintenance and development projects.
• Conduct bulldozer operation when necessary (experience in this area is advantageous).
• Work independently and efficiently to meet project goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• Perform weekend work as required.
• Maintain equipment and ensure it is in optimal condition.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications:

• Full New Zealand driver's license.
• Proven experience in farm excavator operation.
• Bulldozer operation experience (advantageous).
• Strong references available for contact.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to large-scale farm excavation projects.
• Availability for full-time employment.

Additional Information:

• Single man's accommodation can be provided for out-of-town applicants.
• Work ute will be provided.
• Some weekend work is required.
