We are currently seeking an experienced Dairy Farm Supervisor to join our team and uphold our tradition of excellence.

Position Overview:

As a Dairy Farm Supervisor at Braum's Dairy, you will be an integral part of our management team, working closely with the owners and dairy manager. Your responsibilities will include overseeing dairy herd health, animal feeding and treatment, sanitation and maintenance of animal quarters, equipment upkeep, and other essential animal husbandry duties. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of health technicians, feeders, bedders, maternity staff, nursery staff, milkers, and other supporting farm personnel.
• Promote and enforce safety protocols and maintain a culture of professionalism among the team.
• Work on a rotating schedule with 50 plus hours per week to ensure the highest standards of care for our dairy herd.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing a successful dairy with a demonstrated history of producing the highest quality milk.
• Trained in artificial insemination techniques.
• Proficient in disease control, with the ability to identify illness, administer treatment, perform pregnancy checks, and manage other aspects of animal health.
• Knowledgeable in dairy nutrition to optimize the health and productivity of the herd.
• Effective leadership skills to manage and motivate employees in a positive and collaborative manner.
• Strong communication skills to interact successfully with a diverse range of individuals to maximize safety, quality, and production.
