About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Cropping Team Member to become a vital part of our team. As a Cropping Team Member, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful cultivation and maintenance of our crops.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare beds, plant, and cultivate crops according to the cropping schedule.
- Operate and maintain farm equipment and tractors.
- Safely and accurately mix, handle, and apply agrichemicals, including pesticides and fertilizers, following recommended guidelines and safety protocols.
- Manage and maintain irrigation systems.
- Prepare soil, apply fertilizers, and implement pest control measures.
- Ensure crop quality and yield meet company standards.
- Monitor crop health and promptly report any issues.
- Collaborate with the team to complete tasks efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
About You:
- Preferably, you have previous experience in farming or crop production.
- Familiarity with farm equipment and machinery is a plus.
- Knowledge of crop planting, growing, and harvesting techniques is advantageous.
- You are capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- You possess a strong work ethic and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Physical fitness enables you to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are part of your skillset.
- You have a willingness to learn and adapt to new farming practices.
