Mission Australia, a leading not-for-profit organization committed to ending homelessness and providing support to those in need, is seeking dedicated Assistant in Nursing (AIN) professionals to join our team at Triple Care Farm in Robertson, NSW. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people undergoing Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) withdrawal, rehabilitation, and treatment.

Position Details:

• Casual shifts available, including Day, Afternoon, and Night shifts.
• Hourly rate: $38.05 to $40.20 per hour plus penalty rates.
• Located at Triple Care Farm in Robertson, NSW.
• Ideal for students currently studying their final year in Nursing.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination required.
• Never work Christmas shifts again.

Your Role:

As an AIN at Triple Care Farm, your role will involve providing holistic nursing care support to young people aged 16-24 who are withdrawing from drugs and/or alcohol dependence. You will work in a safe and supported environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your responsibilities will include assisting the nursing team, implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate health care records.

Requirements for Success:

• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or currently studying the final year of nursing.
• Passion for helping young people dealing with AOD issues.
• NSW Driver’s License and current First Aid Certificate.
• Three years' experience in the AOD field is desirable.
• Familiarity with harm minimization framework.
• National police history check, qualifications, and referee checks required.
