Job Description:

As an Aquaculture Support Worker, you will play a vital role in our aquaculture operations. You will work closely with our aquaculture team to ensure the health and well-being of our aquatic species, maintain equipment, and support daily farm operations. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the aquaculture industry and contribute to the sustainable production of seafood.

Key Responsibilities:

Write daily basic progress reports.

Operate, maintain, and clean pumps, filters, and other aquaculture equipment.

Transport marine plants to processing plants.

Assist aquaculture technicians in the operation of fish hatcheries or other aquatic farms.

Harvest seedlings.

Mussel socking and harvesting.

Experience and Specialization:

Type of aquaculture operations: Aquaculture — mussels.

Type of fishing: Mussel socking and harvesting.

Area of work experience: Stripping.

Area of specialization: Mussels, Oyster.

Additional Information:

Transportation/travel information: Own transportation.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity.

Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
