Job Description:

As an Apiary Technician at Worker Bee Honey, you will be an integral part of our beekeeping team, responsible for various tasks related to beekeeping, farm machinery operation, and apiary management. Your daily tasks will include:

• Monitoring the health and well-being of our bee colonies.
• Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment.
• Conducting essential apiary work, including disease detection and treatment.
• Harvesting honey and overseeing honey bee activities.
• Writing daily progress reports to ensure smooth communication within the team.
• Providing supervisory support as needed.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

• Previous experience in apiary work and honey harvesting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of bee biology, apiary management, and the detection and treatment of bee diseases.
• Proficiency in operating farm trucks and forklifts.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Physical fitness, as the role involves physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and outdoor work.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to work well within a team.
