Position: Greenhouse Supervisor
Location: Holden, AB
Salary: $25 per hour
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct grounds maintenance for optimal plant growth and health
- Organize and oversee planting of trees, gardens, and lawns
- Manage and supervise landscape construction projects, including fences, decks, and walls
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise landscape construction work
- Tender and administer contracts as required
- Establish efficient work schedules and procedures for the team
- Repair and maintain equipment to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee a team of 5-10 people in day-to-day greenhouse tasks
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in greenhouse or landscape management
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Work Schedule and Benefits:
- Full-time position with 35 hours per week
