Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Farm Overseer to join our team in Brookstead. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our grain and cotton farm. Your expertise in modern farming practices and machinery operation will be essential in ensuring the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of farm workers and operators
• Plan and coordinate farm activities, including planting, irrigation, and harvesting
• Implement advanced farming techniques to optimize yield and quality
• Maintain and operate farm machinery and equipment
• Monitor crop health and implement pest and disease management strategies
• Collaborate with agronomists and other experts to drive continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Farm Overseer or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of modern farming practices and machinery operation
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in computer literacy
• Valid heavy vehicle driver's license (truck license) preferred
• Current Australian driver's license
