Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Family Lawyer to join our team in Toowoomba. As a member of our esteemed family law firm, you will contribute to our commitment to high-quality legal services in various areas of family law, including domestic and family violence law and child protection. This is a unique opportunity to become a part of the largest specialist family law firm in Queensland and work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality legal services to clients across various family law matters.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced family lawyers and support staff to deliver client-focused solutions.
• Communicate effectively and sensitively with clients, offering support and reassurance.
• Demonstrate initiative in streamlining processes and finding innovative solutions.
• Work both independently and collaboratively within the team.
• Occasional travel between offices and to Brisbane CBD for Court or client commitments may be required.
• Uphold the values of BWB and contribute to the firm's performance-driven culture.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Hold a current practising certificate issued by the Queensland Law Society or have the ability to obtain one.
• Any level of post-admission experience in family law is welcome.
• Consistency, structure, and responsiveness in work.
• Strong communication skills to nurture and support clients.
• Collaborative and innovative mindset.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle for travel requirements.
