About the Role:

As part of our Maintenance Team, you'll play a vital role in construction projects, repairs, and general maintenance within our poultry sheds, egg grading facility, and feedmill. The position is casual, with occasional weekend work to meet operational needs. Safety is paramount, and you should be able to work both independently and cooperatively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake general construction projects, repairs, and maintenance tasks
• Assist with day-to-day tasks to meet business deadlines
• Participate in training and development programs
• Follow strict bio-security requirements
• Adhere to our company values: Responsibility, Integrity, Generosity, Humility, and Trust

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Minimum 3 years' maintenance experience in an agricultural environment
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with managers, supervisors, and team members
• Certificate for Working at Heights (preferred)
• Current White or Blue Card
• Experience with Cooling Systems (preferred)

Additional Requirements:

• Passion for agriculture and rural living
• Sufficient literacy and numeracy skills
• Valid driver's license and own transport
• Sound physical fitness for outdoor work in various weather conditions
