Role Overview:
As a Software Engineer at Datamine, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining our suite of Mine Planning and Scheduling solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop new features, address prioritized defects, and support customers in utilizing our software. This role offers the chance to work within an Agile environment on cutting-edge solutions that impact the global mining industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and maintain Datamine's Mine Planning and Scheduling solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement new functionalities.
- Address prioritized defects identified by the Quality Assurance team.
- Work effectively within the team to deliver outcomes on time and within budget.
- Assist customers with the installation, use, and licensing of Datamine software.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- 5+ years of experience in C# development.
- Proficiency with WPF and MVVM frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Solid understanding of the Microsoft technology stack.
Desirable Skills:
- Proficiency in C++.
- Strong database skills.
- Experience with 3D Visualization.
- Knowledge of the mining industry is a plus.
