Are you an experienced Tractor Driver looking for a rewarding opportunity in the agricultural sector? Join our team as a Tractor Driver for an established agricultural contractor based in Waimate. We specialize in precision planting, direct drilling, boom spraying, and cultivation.
Responsibilities:
- Operate modern Fendt and Valtra tractors for various tasks
- Execute precision planting, direct drilling, boom spraying, and cultivation activities
- Maintain and service equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Work in alignment with weather-dependent schedules
- Optional opportunity to work on a cropping farm from December to March
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Tractor Driver in an agricultural setting
- Proficiency in operating Fendt and Valtra tractors preferred
- Familiarity with precision planting, direct drilling, boom spraying, and cultivation techniques
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate starting at $30+ per hour (depending on experience)
- Base rate plus 8% holiday pay
- Approximately 70 hours of work per week
