Job Description:

We are currently seeking responsible and self-motivated Nursery Hands to join our Production Team in General Duties. While a Certificate 3 in Horticulture or plant knowledge is advantageous, it is not essential as training will be provided. If you have experience working in a production nursery or a similar role involving plants, we encourage you to apply by submitting your resume.

Key Responsibilities:

• Selecting and picking plants for orders
• Preparing plants for dispatch
• Potting, pruning, staking, fertilizing, and weeding plants
• Cleaning and blocking Nursery Beds
• Assisting with irrigation, spraying, and deliveries

Key Attributes:

• Physical fitness and ability to perform in a physically demanding role
• Willingness to work as part of an all-weather, outdoor team environment
• Ability to follow directions easily
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with the initiative to take action
• Eye for detail in plant maintenance and presentation
• Plant knowledge and experience with nursery machinery are advantageous
• Own vehicle and driver's license are essential
