Job Overview:

We are currently seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as Fruit Farm Workers in Kelowna, BC. As a Fruit Farm Worker, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including mixing fertilizer, weeding, fertilizing and spraying crops, as well as harvesting apples and cherries. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a strong work ethic, and are passionate about fruit farming.

Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Previous experience of 1 to less than 7 months in fruit farming or related field
• Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate strong teamwork skills
• Familiarity with fruit farming practices and equipment is an asset
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• Mix fertilizer according to specific instructions
• Perform weeding to maintain the cleanliness of the farm
• Fertilize and spray crops using appropriate techniques
• Harvest apples and cherries with care and precision
• Operate farm equipment such as fertilizer applicators, fruit harvesters, sprayers or dusters, and tractors
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Work effectively as a team player to ensure efficient farm operations
