Job Description:

Riverlea Contractors, a reputable agricultural services provider based in Hawera, Taranaki, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Farm Machinery Operator to join our team. As a Farm Machinery Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of farm machinery and equipment to support efficient farming operations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, harvesters, sprayers, and loaders.
• Perform tasks related to cultivation, planting, spraying, harvesting, and other farming operations.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and comply with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with the farm team to coordinate and execute farming tasks effectively.
• Keep accurate records of machinery usage, maintenance activities, and operational data.
• Assist with general farm duties as required, contributing to the overall farm operation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Farm Machinery Operator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of farm machinery operations and maintenance.
• Proficiency in operating a range of agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Familiarity with modern farming practices and techniques.
• Excellent mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
