Requirements:

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Language: English

Responsibilities:

• Assist with calving and provide necessary care for newborn calves
• Handle animals with care and monitor their health and well-being
• Feed and tend to dairy cows according to established procedures
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including milking systems
• Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
• Detect and address any disease or health problems in livestock
• Set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns and pens
• Perform general farm duties as required
• Maintain work records and assist in the implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
