Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Language: English
Responsibilities:
- Assist with calving and provide necessary care for newborn calves
- Handle animals with care and monitor their health and well-being
- Feed and tend to dairy cows according to established procedures
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including milking systems
- Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
- Detect and address any disease or health problems in livestock
- Set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns and pens
- Perform general farm duties as required
- Maintain work records and assist in the implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Work may take place outdoors, at heights, and in various environmental conditions
- The farm setting may be wet, noisy, odorous, dusty, and exposed to hot and cold temperatures
- Ability to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks

- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and perform a combination of sitting and standing for extended periods
