Description
Are you passionate about working with animals and looking for an exciting opportunity in the agricultural industry? We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Poultry Farm Worker to join our team at a well-established poultry farm in New Plymouth, Taranaki.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the daily operations of the poultry farm, including feeding, watering, and monitoring the health of the birds
- Cleaning and maintaining the poultry housing and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Collecting eggs, grading, and packaging them according to quality standards
- Assisting with vaccination and other routine procedures
- Monitoring and reporting any issues or concerns to the Farm Manager
Requirements:
- Previous experience working on a poultry farm is preferred but not essential
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high animal welfare standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
