Position: IT Support Engineer
Location: Auckland CBD, Auckland, New Zealand
Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, both on-site and remotely
- Perform hardware and software upgrades and installations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations
- Document and maintain accurate records of support activities and solutions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other commonly used software applications
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus
