Job Description:

Are you passionate about working in the dairy industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Dairy Farm Hand to join our team in Bairnsdale, VIC. As a Dairy Farm Hand, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our dairy farm, working closely with our experienced team to ensure the health and productivity of our herd.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with milking and feeding of cows
• Monitoring and maintaining the health and well-being of the herd
• Cleaning and maintaining the milking equipment and facilities
• Assisting with the calving process and calf rearing
• Operating farm machinery and equipment as needed
• General farm maintenance tasks

Requirements:

• Previous experience working on a dairy farm is preferred but not essential
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Knowledge of animal husbandry practices and farm machinery operation is a plus
• Valid driver's license
