Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dairy Farm Assistant on our farm located in the beautiful North Island of New Zealand. As a Dairy Farm Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our dairy farm.

Responsibilities:

Assisting with milking cows and maintaining milking equipment

Feeding and monitoring the health and wellbeing of dairy cows

Assisting with calving, calf rearing, and general animal husbandry tasks

Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment

Assisting with pasture management, including fencing and irrigation

General farm maintenance and cleaning duties

Following health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

Previous experience working on a dairy farm is preferred but not essential

Strong work ethic and a passion for agriculture and animal care

Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions

Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
