Job Description:

We are currently seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Aquaculture Farm Workers at our facility in Whangaroa, New Zealand. As an Aquaculture Farm Worker, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our aquaculture farm, ensuring the optimal growth and health of our aquatic species.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the feeding, monitoring, and general care of aquatic species
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the farm
• Assist with the handling and transportation of aquatic species
• Monitor water quality parameters and report any abnormalities or issues
• Participate in regular farm maintenance activities, including netting, cleaning, and repairs
• Follow all safety protocols and adhere to health and safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve production targets and farm goals

Requirements:

• Prior experience in aquaculture or a similar field is preferred but not essential
• Willingness to learn and adapt to farm-specific processes and procedures
• Physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Valid work visa or eligibility to work in New Zealand
